How to use Curl Wow Snag-Free
1. Apply to wet hair before you shampoo. Working with large sections, pump into hand and smooth Snag-Free throughout curls from root to end.
2. Rake through with fingers or use a wide-tooth comb to distribute evenly.
3. Rinse lightly. Follow with HOOKED shampoo and COCO-MOTION conditioner.
Can this be used on all curl types?
Absolutely, it can be used on any curly hair types.
Is Snag-Free cruelty-free?
Yes.

Yes.
Is Snag-Free a heat protectant?
Yes, but that’s not the purpose here.
How much of this product should you use?
As much as needed until hair is lubricated. Remember to shampoo afterwards.

As a long-time fan of Color Wow, I had high expectations for their Snag-Free Pre-Shampoo Detangler, and it absolutely surpassed them. My biggest problem during wash days has always been excessive hair loss, which I've realized is often caused by the struggle of detangling my knotty curly hair once it's wet and most fragile. This detangler is applied before shampooing, and it is a revelation. The slip it creates is incredible—it instantly melts away tangles and makes the entire detangling process completely stress-free. If you struggle with tangles, breakage, or hair loss during shampooing, this is an absolute must-have. It has transformed my wash day from a chore to a treat, and I highly recommend it!

However I have long thin hair that I usually just end up twirling up and clipping, then I mess with that bun and continue to do multiple times per day. It ends up a rats nest by the time I do my weekly full hair cleaning routine. The Pre-Shampoo Detangler has made a huge difference, and I highly recommend this product.
This didn't work for my hair texture, I didn't see any difference and my hair felt more dry after using it.
