Pair it with

1. Apply to dry hair.
2. Load up small end of brush with powder.
3. Use free hand to pull hair flat and taut against head, and press brush down firmly into roots, starting from scalp and working out.
4. Do not use a sweeping motion.
5. Apply more powder as needed.
6. To extend highlights, use side edge of small brush. Lightly dust off any excess powder with wide end of brush.

    I really like the root cover up. As a curly haired woman, a loose powder would work better. I find the pressed powder with the brush causes root frizzies. I will definitely repurchase since I can easily scrape the pressed powder into loose.

    I was dubious about how effective the Root Cover Up would be - but I was SO wrong! It is easy to use and despite going swimming it stayed in place and my dark roots remained hidden. Great product
