3 WAYS TO CURL YOUR HAIR USING DIFFERENT IRONS

Ever searched: How to curl your hair with a curling iron? This super simple WOW hair tutorial will show you how to get 3 completely different looks with 3 of our favorite hair irons. Consider it your complete guide to safe sexy styling with hot tools.

For all of these wavy hairstyles, you’ll want to work in layers, from the bottom layer of the hair to the top. When working with all of these hair irons, work with 1/4-1/2 inch sections of hair. For safe, sexy styling, always prep for heat using Style on Steroids - this texturizing spray not only protects hair against heat but also does not “glue” strands together like most sprays do when using hot irons.

The double barrel hair iron of the R Session Tidal Waver can look pretty intimidating, but if you know how to do a figure 8 then you can master this WOW hair style. Simply weave hair in and out of the double barrel wand, leaving about a 1/2 inch of ends free. To finish off this wavy hairstyle, rock back and forth once the hair is wrapped to create a looser, more natural looking wave.
The result?
Natural-looking, loose beachy waves.

The biggest mistake people make when creating wavy hairstyles with wands is they don’t point the wand down. We love working with Harry Josh Ceramic Marcel Curling Iron. For waves, work with the handle up before wrapping hair from the top of the wand (closest to the handle) then working your way down. Release the curl into your hand to cool so the wave has a chance to set before being released.

For a glam, old-Hollywood WOW hair wave, wave all the hair in the same direction before brushing out. For a more textured look, alternate directions of the wave (do one away from the face and one toward the face).

Working with slightly larger 1/2 inch sections, hold the Harry Josh Pro Tools Ceramic Flat Styling Iron 1.25 “ horizontally and clasp a 1/4 inch from the scalp. Begin feeding the hair below the iron through the plates of the flat iron while gently “clapping” the strands with the flat iron. Make an S-motion as you work your way down the hair shaft to create this wavy hairstyle.
The result?
One part glam, one part cool girl WOW hair wave that has sexy separation and shine.
